Meet Dr. Ortiz

Dr. Ortiz is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in:

  • Specialties: Eating disorders, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and borderline personality disorder.

  • Experience: Private practice, outpatient clinics, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, and inpatient hospital settings.

  • Approach: Evidence-based and personalized therapy, grounded in the latest research. For those interested in working on eating or body image concerns, I work from a health at every size (HAES) framework. 

  • Therapeutic modalities used: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
